Tom joined Thomas Coombs in 2015 within the audit and accounts department as part of the firms graduate scheme programme and has progressed through the ranks, becoming Head of Audit in 2021 and then Director in 2022.
Tom now looks after a portfolio of his own clients, focusing on small and medium sized enterprises and owner managed businesses in a variety sectors.
Tom is also the senior statutory auditor of a large portfolio of the firms small and medium sized audit clients. Tom specialises in audit engagements performed under the scope of the International Standards of Auditing (UK). As senior statutory auditor, Tom audits a range of clients from single entity organisations to worldwide groups in sectors such as telecommunications, manufacturing, finance, software development, the motor industry, and many more, as well as SRA audits for Solicitor Accounts Rules.
